Certification and council rules in Dubbo
Dubbo Regional Council publishes its pool fees rather than quoting them case by case: $150.00 for the initial swimming pool barrier inspection and $100.00 for an additional inspection if one is required, on the 2026-27 schedule, with applications made through the council's online portal. Those are the maximum amounts the Swimming Pools Regulation 2018 allows a NSW council to charge, and the resulting certificate of compliance is valid for three years under the Swimming Pools Act 1992. Dubbo's long, hot summers make it one of the strongest inland pool markets in New South Wales, and heating matters less here than shade and evaporation control.
