Certification and council rules in Campbelltown
Campbelltown sits on the shale of the Cumberland Plain where reactive clay soils are the norm, and clay is the biggest single driver of excavation cost for a concrete shell — piering is commonly required where a sandy site needs none. Western Sydney heat also gives the area one of the longer genuine swimming seasons in the basin, which is why pool density is high relative to the state.
