What we collect, why, and how to have a listing removed.

In short

  • Unclaimed business listings show name, suburb and category only — no phone, no email, no address.
  • You can have a listing removed with one form and no account.
  • A removal is recorded permanently so it does not reappear when we refresh our data.
  • Enquiry details are used to match you with pool builders in your area.

Business listings

Many pool businesses are sole traders, whose contact details are personal information under the Privacy Act 1988. For that reason an unclaimed listing publishes only the business name, suburb and category. Contact details are not displayed until the business claims the listing.

Every listing records where it came from and when. If a detail is wrong, tell us and we will fix or remove it.

Removals are permanent

When a business asks to be removed, the request is written to a registry that is checked on every subsequent import. This is deliberate: a removal that is not recorded permanently reappears at the next data refresh, and that is worse than the original listing.

Enquiries

If you submit a quote request we collect your name, email, postcode and project details, and use them to match you with pool builders servicing your area. You can ask us to delete your details at any time using the same form.
