What drives the price in Camden
- From $25,000 for a plunge or compact fibreglass pool installed.
- Full-size fibreglass $45,000–$85,000 · concrete $65,000–$110,000.
- Excavation is the biggest local variable — soil and slope, not the shell.
- Most quotes exclude fencing, paving and landscaping. Get that in writing.
- Approval runs 3–10 weeks before anything is dug.

Certification and council rules in Camden
Camden is one of the fastest-growing council areas in New South Wales, and its new release estates sit on small lots where the pool ends up close to a boundary fence. That is the recurring compliance problem here: the non-climbable zone is far harder to keep clear on a narrow block, and a neighbour's fence with horizontal rails on their side is climbable even though you do not own it.
